Specialists of DTEK and NPC Ukrenergo have restored power to 18,500 families in the Odesa region after rf’s shelling of one of substations
On October 22, rf’s shelling has destroyed one of the power facilities that powers part of Odesa and Odesa district of the region. Emergency crews of energy workers have commenced elimination of consequences of destructions immediately after obtaining a permit from AFU and SES.
At 19:00 on October 22, specialists of DTEK Odesa Grids and NPC Ukrenergo managed to completely restore electricity supply to 8,000 families in Odesa and 10,500 families in Odesa district of the region via backup power circuits.
Due to an increased load, the company asks customers to consume electricity reasonably and not to overload the grids – to switch on energy-consuming appliances in turn.
Various scenarios of the enemy damaging key power supply facilities and a response plan have been developed in every region. This will allow all workers of the energy sector to act in harmony in the event of critical situations and restore electricity supply to the majority of affected settlements as soon as possible.
