DTEK has restored power to 54,000 families in the Kyiv region that were without electricity in the evening of November 15 due to russia’s attack on the critical infrastructure facilities. At 03:50 on November 16, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids specialists have completed repairs and restored electricity to the customers.

During the evening of November 15 and night of November 16, DTEK specialists have restored electricity to 54,006 families, left de-energized due to the damage of company’s grids by missile strikes.

DTEK energy workers together with authorities, NPC Ukrenergo and rescue services did everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. 30 specialists of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids were engaged in restoration activities.

The situation in the energy system remains very difficult. Therefore, emergency power cutoffs have been applied in the Kyiv region on November 16 in accordance with NPC Ukrenergo command. The schedules of stabilization power cutoffs are currently not valid. Please follow DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids website and company’s Facebook page for updates.

We ask customers to treat electricity consumption responsibly – switch on energy-consuming appliances in turn and minimize electricity consumption during peak hours from 6.00 to 11.00 and from 17.00 to 23.00.
