DTEK specialists restored service to 12 settlements in the Donetsk region

On April 7, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored power to residents of 12 settlements in Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts of the Donetsk region. Service was restored to 21,000 families. Energy workers cooperate with the AFU and continue performing emergency and restoration activities in the region, once the crews are enabled to safely perform them.

In the course of the past 24 hours, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have energized 8 settlements in Pokrovsk and 4 in Bakhmut districts of the Donetsk region. Energy workers managed to restore power to homes of 21,397 customers of the company, despite active military activities in the region.

183 settlements in Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is now in the northern part of the region, where grids and substations are being constantly damaged due to hostilities. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces in order to perform repair of lines.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 44 days in a row and are doing everything possible in order to promptly restore power to settlements, affected by hostilities.
