DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power supply to 3,400 homes yesterday

On April 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to restore power to a series of settlements, de-energized by constant shelling of the region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 3,400 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews continue to restore electricity in the region. In particular, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore electricity to homes of 3,393 families yesterday.

The situation in the Donetsk region still remains very difficult due to constant enemy attacks and shelling. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, russians shelled settlements of the region 17 times over the course of the day. Energy workers have been working non-stop for 1,141 days and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
