From December 25 to January 2, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to 11,500 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were left without power supply due to shelling. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Due to the proximity to the area of hostilities, settlements in the south of the region suffer from constant russia’s shelling. Therefore, energy workers have to frequently repair damaged lines and restore electricity to homes.

During the pre-New Year week, December 25 through 31, DTEK specialists have restored operation of grids for more than 9,500 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region. On January 1 and 2, after yet another shelling and attack of the kamikaze drones, electricity has been restored to nearly 2,000 households.

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists conduct works immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Currently, about 350 families remain without power supply. Energy workers make every effort to restore electricity to all homes as soon as possible.
