For one day (February 10), Ukrenergo will cancel limitations of electricity consumption in the Kyiv region
A significant power shortage remains in the energy system of Ukraine after russia’s terrorist attacks. In order to determine electricity consumption limits for each region in accordance with the real demand, NPC Ukrenergo will carry out control measurements of electricity consumption in the regions.
On February 10, no stabilization or emergency shutdowns will be applied in the Kyiv region, except for the part of Bucha, Fastiv and Obukhiv districts. The grids infrastructure in these districts is severely damaged, so we cannot launch power supply there for 100% due to the high risk of an emergency. During the hours of high load on the grids, there may be shutdowns in these districts in accordance with the schedule posted on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids website.
If you experience a power outage on February 10, please check the shutdowns status on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids website – it may be caused by a local emergency or the shutdown is in accordance with the schedule for the indicated districts, where the grid is weakened due to russia’s attacks.
If this information is missing on the website, please inform us about power outage via convenient remote services. The fastest way is to send us a private message on the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids Facebook page. Another way is to file an application in the section “No electricity?” on the company’s website. You can also file an application via a call center, though it may take more time due to a large number of calls.
