DTEK Dnipro Grids launched the chatbot

DTEK Dnipro Grids now has a chatbot. This is a virtual digital assistant that helps the company's customers get all the needed information automatically. So now, the residents of Dnipro and the region can submit meter readings, get answers to frequently asked questions and report emergencies using this chatbot. From day one, the DTEK Dnipro Grids chatbot will be available in Viber and Telegram. At the next stages, the Chatbot will be available at Facebook.

DTEK Dnipro Grids launched the chatbot

“DTEK takes care of its customers and creates user-friendly and useful services for them. Now more than 50% of all calls to our company are typical: submitting meter readings, receiving information about connecting to networks, as well as about scheduled and emergency outages. Thanks to the chatbot, residents of Dnipro and the region will receive information on these issues faster and without waiting. Everything will happen instantly, 24/7,” says Andrii Tereschiuk, DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO.

To start using the chatbot you need to do the following:

    • Enter “DTEK Dnipro Grids” in Telegram or Viber or scan QR-code below.
    • Follow the menu prompts, get or submit the required information.

At the moment, using the chatbot, our customers can:

      • Submit meter readings;
      • Report accidents;
      • Apply for the metering devices maintenance;
      • Find out the payment details for services;
      • Familiarize yourself with the opening hours of the Customer Service Centers;
      • Get information about the scheduled works;
      • Learn about emergency situations;
      • Get answers to the frequently asked questions.

Chatbot users are identified using the personal account number, which every DTEK Dnipro Grids customer has. If the customer does not know the personal account number, it can be recovered through the website or by calling the company's call center.

The Company plans to develop this new service and add new functions.

The usual remote communication channels are also functioning. Information about planned and emergency outages can be checked on the website in the section "No power?"
