Let's recall that severe weather is hitting Mariupol for the second week in a row with short breaks and has affected almost all areas of the region. The highest amount of precipitation was recorded on June 8. According to local forecasters, their daily amount exceeded the monthly normal, and became a record in 30 years. Due to the critical flooding of the area, the Port-35 kV substation had to be de-energized to prevent damage to the equipment. As a result, 50 transformer substations in the port area supplying the village of Moryakov and nearby streets were de-energized. The operation of the Port-35 kV substation was restored tonight after preventive maintenance and drying of equipment with heat guns.
