DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to homes of 5,000 families over the course of the day

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews obtained permission from the military, were able to access a number of grids damages and conduct required repair works, thus restoring electricity to homes of 5,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company make every effort to promptly restore power supply in the region, once it becomes possible, in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to one more settlement, affected by constant shelling of the region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 5,046 families.

Hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region. Shelling, missile and air strikes continue.

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy system of the region. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 744 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
