Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to 47 settlements, de-energized due to shelling

During Monday and Tuesday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to 47 settlements of the frontline Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 33,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

On July 17 and 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore power to 47 settlements, affected by constant shelling of the region, thus restoring electricity to 33,144 families. 

Heavy fighting in the Donetsk region is ongoing. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to concentrate main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Kupiansk directions, where more than 20 clashes took place over the course of the day. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 108 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 511 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
