Electricity is restored to another 1,500 families in 9 towns and villages of the Kyiv region: DTEK continues repairing grids in the liberated areas of the region
On May 2, DTEK electricians have completely restored electricity to Blystavytsia and Ozera villages in the Bucha district. Energy workers continue restoring electricity to Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, Romanivka, Dmytrivka and Andriivka. Electricity was partially restored to the Olyzarivka village in the Vyshhorod district. Energy workers are already processing specific customer requests and restoring constant power circuits in settlements of these districts.
Overall, electricity was restored to 1,543 families yesterday.
16,200 households in 29 settlements remain without electricity.
On May 3, DTEK energy workers continue performing electricity restoration activities in 15 settlements of Bucha and Vyshhorod districts, including as per requests of consumers, who returned to their homes in the liberated areas.
Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the Ukrainian military and after provision of a permit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, required to access damaged sites.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 68 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities.
