Electricity is restored to another 6,000 families: DTEK continues repairing grids in the liberated areas of the Kyiv region

On April 27, DTEK emergency and restoration crews have restored power to 6,325 families in the Kyiv region, left without electricity due to damage of lines, caused by hostilities. DTEK electricians continue restoring grids in districts of the Kyiv region immediately after mine clearance of the areas by Ukrainian military.

On April 27, DTEK electricians have restored electricity to 6,325 homes. In particular, in the Vyshhorod district power was completely restored to Karpylivka, Novi Makalevychi, Pisky, Stepanivka, Romanivka, Cheremoshna, Huta Mezhyhirska, Kozarovychi and Syniak, and partially restored to Zherevpillia and Olyva. In the Bucha district power was completely restored to Myrcha, Bondarnia, Nalyvaikivka, Mykolaivka, Nizhylovychi and Motyzhyn, and partially restored to Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, Nemishaieve, Makariv, Babyntsi, Blystavytsia, Lypivka and Kalynivka.

31,700 households in 63 settlements remain without electricity.

On April 28, DTEK energy workers plan to perform power restoration activities in 20 settlements of Bucha and Vyshhorod districts. Additionally, restoration of electricity as per requests of consumers, returning to their homes in the liberated areas, is underway.

Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the Ukrainian military and after provision of a permit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, required to access damaged sites.

Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 64 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.
