Restoring electricity: DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to almost 5,000 customers

On April 4, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency crews have partially restored service to 2 settlements in Bakhmut district. Service was restored to 5,000 customers. Energy workers cooperate with the AFU and continue performing emergency and restoration activities in the region, once the crews are enabled to safely perform them.

On April 4, DTEK Donetsk Grids electricians managed to restore power to 4,971 customers in 2 settlements in Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region.

178 settlements in Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is in Kramatorsk, Avdiivka and Velyka Novosilka, where grids and substations are being constantly damaged due to hostilities.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 42 days in a row and are doing everything possible in order to promptly restore power to settlements, affected by hostilities. The company cooperates with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to safely access damaged power lines.
