DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore power to 17 settlements in the Donetsk region, affected by hostilities in the region. Service is restored to more than 19,000 families.

On April 20, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have repaired some equipment and power lines, damaged by shelling, thus restoring electricity to residents of 17 settlements in Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Kramatorsk districts of the Donetsk region. Service is restored to 19,133 families.

234 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation remains near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka, where electrical equipment and power lines are being constantly damaged due to active hostilities. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
