Since the beginning of the week, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 26,000 families

Over the course of three days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore power to 38 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 23,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

From April 29 to May 1, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to eliminate a number of damages of grids and equipment and completely or partially restore electricity to 38 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 26,341 families. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active fighting. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 18 times over the course of the day. 

Hostilities in the Donetsk region constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 799 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
