“Electricity is a vital service, especially for the residents of frontline communities. We do our best to make sure that all our customers have electricity,” says Oleksii Degtyarev, General Director for DTEK Donetsk Grids. “Since the beginning of the year, our company has restored the operation of three high-voltage lines, seven medium-low voltage lines and 93 transformer substations damaged after shelling. They returned the power to 1,907 households in the region. The last time we restored the overhead line in the village of Vodyane, Volnovakha region”.

DTEK Donetsk Grids repair crews began the line restoration immediately after they received an agreement from the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination on Ceasefire Issues). They repaired wire breaks in two spans of the 10 kV overhead line. Now all residents of Vodyane have reliable power supply. Also, the company has replaced the power transformer at the transformer substation in the front-line village of Travneve in the Bakhmut district.
