Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as from the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region. Electricians start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories by the Ukrainian military and after provision of a permit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, required to access damaged sites. First, emergency crews restore 110-35 kV high-voltage grids that supply power to the settlements. Then, they repair 10-0.4 kV distribution grids that supply power directly to residential buildings. Additionally, company’s specialists process requests of consumers from towns and villages, where they have completely restored service to settlements through 10 kV grids and started repairing 0.4 kV grids.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 58 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in the Kyiv region, affected by hostilities. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.
