DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 24,000 families over the course of the day

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore power to homes of residents of 17 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring access to electricity for 24,026 families. 

Shelling in the Donetsk region does not subside. Air and missile strikes continue. In particular, Kostiantynivka was hit by two air strikes yesterday. Other communities of the region are under fire too. 

Hostilities in the Donetsk region constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 688 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company work daily on restorations in the region.
