DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 1,300 homes over the course of the day

On April 4, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, despite shelling and with the permission of the military, restored electricity to 3 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 1,300 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to access a number of sites of grids damage and repair it, thus restoring power to 3 settlements of the frontline Donetsk region. Electricity has been restored to homes of 1,335 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to National Police, the enemy carried out over 1,700 strikes on the region yesterday. In particular, Pokrovsk was hit by two missile attacks. 

Constant enemy shelling continues to destroy the energy system. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 772 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
