DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 5,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of the day

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to 10 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling of the region. Power has been restored to homes of more than 5,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

On June 20, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore power to 10 settlements in the Donetsk region that suffers from constant hostilities, thus restoring electricity to homes of 5,107 families. 

Battles are underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy keeps concentrating main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, where 40 battles took place over the course of the day. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 109 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
