The cyclone brought a stormy wind to the Donetsk region and caused fallen trees, torn off roofs and a number of damaged grids. Even though strong wind complicated works on aerial platforms, energy workers managed to restore electricity to 216 settlements over the course of the day, thus restoring power to 137,600 homes.

Of these, 92,600 families and 108 settlements were affected by bad weather.

While 45,000 families and another 108 settlements were de-energized due to shelling of one of the power facilities in the Donetsk region.

More than 60 crews of energy workers are engaged in restoration activities. They work on restoration of electricity both for residents of the region, affected by bad weather, and for those de-energized due to shelling.

However, the situation in the region remains difficult. Active hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region. Shelling, missile and air strikes continue. Therefore, we ask residents to show understanding: energy workers will continue to work in the high alert mode until the electricity is restored wherever possible.

If you have a power outage, please inform us about it in any convenient way: via remote service channels: DTEK Donetsk Grids website, company’s Facebook page. You can also contact the call center: +38 (093/096/099) 450 0 473, though it may take more time due to a large number of calls.

Energy workers are working 24/7 and doing everything possible to provide electricity to every home. Only together and with joint efforts will we be able to endure and overcome these dark times!
