Hurricane wind and heavy rain, sometimes with hail, caused a number of destructions in the Donetsk region: fallen trees, damaged power lines and equipment. During the evening, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore operation of 176 transformer substations and restore power to 7 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 22,600 families, de-energized due to bad weather. Energy workers continue to work on restoration of power supply to 21 transformer substations, two settlements and process requests.

In addition, yesterday energy workers managed to restore power to 20 settlements, de-energized due to constant hostilities in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 10,700 homes. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
