DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 1,500 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

Over the course of May 17, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have promptly restored electricity to homes of 1,525 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region after shelling the day before. Despite the difficult situation with hostilities, energy workers continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The south of Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. Despite constant threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews continue to repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The work is conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from the AFU and SES.

Yesterday, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 1,525 families that were left without electricity due to shelling the day before. Power supply is now fully restored.
