DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 3,800 homes in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

Over the course of June 16, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have restored power to 3,800 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were left without it due to shelling the day before. Despite difficult situation with hostilities, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The enemy continues to shell Dnipropetrovsk region. On June 16, one of the communities in the south of the region was again shelled from artillery. Damage of power lines left 5,000 families without electricity.  

Over the course of the day, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists have promptly energized 3,800 homes. 1,200 families remain without electricity. 

Despite constant threat and shelling, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews continue to repair the grids, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The work is carried out immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. Power supply in the affected town is to be fully restored by the end of the day.
