Over the course of the day, DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 5 shelled settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region

Over the course of May 20, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have restored power to 1,200 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were de-energized the day before due to shelling. Electricity has been restored to 5 settlements. Despite shelling and difficult situation with hostilities, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents without electricity. Despite constant threat, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews continue to repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The work is conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from the AFU and SES.  

Yesterday, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 1,173 families in 5 settlements shelled the day before. Power supply is now fully restored.
