DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 7 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region over the course of the day
On July 6, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored power to 7 settlements of the region that were completely or partially de-energized due to hostilities, thus restoring electricity to 2,212 families in the region.
The shelling does not subside in the Donetsk region. Artillery fire, missile and air strikes continue. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, russians shelled settlements 17 times over the course of the day.
Hostilities constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 865 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
