DTEK restored power to more than 2,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of the day

On August 31, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews continued repairs of grids after shelling. Over the course of the day, energy workers managed to restore electricity to homes of more than 2,000 families in 16 settlements of the region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the Donetsk region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to repair a number of damages and restored power to homes of 2,172 families in 16 settlements of the frontline region. 

Donetsk region remains an area of the most active hostilities. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, russians shelled settlements 20 times yesterday. 

Constant shelling continues to destroy grids and equipment. Meanwhile, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and are working non-stop for 921 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
