DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 10,000 families over the course of two days

Despite constant enemy shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to more than 10,000 homes in 9 frontline settlements of the region over the past two days. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the Donetsk region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission to perform works.

On January 19 and 20, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored power to 9 settlements of the region, thus restoring electricity to 10,580 families. 

Shelling in the Donetsk region does not subside. Air, missile and artillery strikes continue. Hostilities constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 697 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
