DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 13,800 homes over the course of two days

On September 2 and 3, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to repair a number of grid damages, caused by shelling, thus completely or partially restoring power to 18 settlements, de-energized by the enemy. Electricity has been restored to homes of 13,800 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored power to residents of 18 settlements, thus restoring access to electricity for 13,888 families.

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 10 times yesterday.

Constant shelling continues to destroy grids and equipment. Meanwhile, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and are working non-stop for 924 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
