DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to almost 17,000 homes over the course of two days

On April 1 and 2, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore electricity to residents of 29 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to almost 17,000 homes of residents of the Donetsk region. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 29 settlements of the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 16,789 families. 

Active hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region. Shelling, missile and air strikes continue. In particular, according to the Selydove CMA, the town was hit by 5 missile strikes yesterday. 

Constant enemy shelling continues to destroy the energy system. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 770 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
