DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 24,000 homes over the course of two days

On July 29 and 30, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, repaired a number of grid damages and restored power to 16 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling of the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 24,000 residents of the region. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 16 settlements of the frontline region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 24,593 families. 

Fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region, where the situation remains difficult. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 20 times yesterday. 

Shelling continues to destroy grids and equipment. DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 889 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
