DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 7,600 families over the course of two days

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to 6 settlements, thus restoring power to homes of 7,659 families. 

Hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the National Police, 12 settlements have been shelled over the course of the day. In particular, Selydove was hit by 6 missile strikes. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy system. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 749 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
