DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 19,000 families over the course of two days

Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to restore power to 29 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 19,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

On August 20 and 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 29 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to 19,489 families. 

Shelling of the Donetsk region is ongoing and continues to cause destruction. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 16 times yesterday. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs and are working non-stop for 911 days in a row. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
