DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to homes of more than 9,000 families over the course of two days

On February 23 and 24, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, performed a number of repairs after shelling and restored electricity to 7 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 9,000 families. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 7 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for 9,417 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 7 times yesterday. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy system of the region. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 732 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
