Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power supply in 9 settlements, de-energized due to shelling

On April 9 and 10, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to restore electricity to residents of 9 settlements, thus restoring power to homes of 5,700 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore power to 9 settlements over the course of two days, thus restoring electricity to homes of 5,742 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to constant shelling, missile and air strikes. Constant enemy shelling continues to destroy the energy system. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 778 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
