On December 15-16, energy workers were once again repairing the grids in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, destroyed by rf’s shelling. Electricity has been restored to homes of almost 17,000 families.

Over the past two days, DTEK energy workers managed to eliminate consequences of shelling and restore electricity to more than 15,300 homes of residents of the Donetsk region and 1,500 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region that are located close to the areas of active hostilities and temporary occupied territories.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. Constant shelling of the region continues. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region. Yesterday alone, electricity has been restored to more than 12,000 homes.

“Due to constant shelling and damage of grids and equipment, 200 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists do not have access to work sites there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the Donetsk region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” – informs the company.

DTEK emergency crews are working non-stop for 662 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
