DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 6,000 households over the course of two days
Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 18 settlements of the Donetsk region, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to 5,898 households.
Active hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, in his pursuits to take control of Donetsk and Luhansk regions the enemy continues to concentrate his main efforts on the offensive in Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions in the areas of Kreminna, Bakhmut, Opytne, Marinka, Avdiivka and Vuhledar. He continues to launch missile strikes and air assaults.
Due to constant shelling, 106 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 350 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
Let us remind that today NPC Ukrenergo conducts measurements of electricity consumption in the Donetsk region in order to determine actual electricity consumption indicators. In accordance with the “Ukrenergo” dispatcher’s instruction, there are no stabilization or emergency shutdowns in the region during the test day.
