Over the course of a month, DTEK has restored electricity to more than 8,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were left without electricity due to enemy shelling

In June, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored power to 8,611 homes* that were left without electricity due to lines damage, caused by hostilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Last month, emergency and repair crews have restored power to all settlements of the region that were left without electricity due to lines damage, caused by shelling, thus restoring electricity to 8,611 families.

The most difficult situation remains in the Kryvyi Rih district at the border with Kherson region, where shelling frequently causes damage to electrical equipment and power lines. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and State Emergency Service. Some homes require restoration of electricity on multiple occasions due to frequent shelling and damage to electrical equipment.

Just last week, operation of lines was restored in two constantly shelled villages, restoring electricity to 353 homes of their residents.

Power is now restored to all settlements, affected by hostilities. The situation is completely under control.
