Over the course of a month, DTEK has restored electricity to more than 10,000 families in settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region that suffered from shelling
Last month, emergency and repair crews have restored power to settlements of the region, left without electricity due to damage of lines, caused by shelling. Service is restored to 10,974 families.
The most difficult situation is in the Kryvyi Rih district at the border with Kherson region, where electrical equipment and power lines are being constantly damaged by shelling. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining a permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the weekend, they have restored operation of lines in 8 villages, thus restoring electricity to 484 homes of its residents.
Currently, power is restored to all settlements, affected by shelling. Not a single family is left without electricity.
Since the beginning of war, DTEK Dnipro Grids repair crews were transferred to the emergency response and restoration operating mode and are ready to promptly restore service in case of blackouts. Workers have specific guidelines related to working in emergencies and are provided with everything needed to restore operation of equipment in case of damage, caused by hostilities.
As previously reported, DTEK Dnipro Grids Customer Service Centers (CSC) in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Kamianske, Nikopol and Pavlohrad have resumed its operation on April 20.
