In October, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored power to 327,000 homes* that were without electricity due to damage of power facilities by shelling. Our specialists commence work immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, DTEK energy workers have restored power to more than 590,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Intensity of enemy strikes keeps rising in the Dnipropetrovsk region, frequently causing damage to grids and energy infrastructure facilities, thus leaving residents of the region without electricity. Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to 327,000 families that were left without electricity due to hostilities.

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining a permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored electricity to more than 590,000 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Power supply in the region is now fully restored. However, the situation in the energy system remains difficult. For that reason, NPC Ukrenergo has to implement stabilization power cutoffs in the Dnipropetrovsk region. A schedule of potential cutoffs is available on the DTEK Dnipro Grids website.

In order to reduce duration and number of power cutoffs, please consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption from 06.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 23.00 in the evening. We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls.

We also recommend turning on electrical appliances correctly after stabilization power cutoff in order to prevent simultaneous significant load rise and emergencies on the grids. Five simple recommendations from DTEK Dnipro Grids are available here.
