Over the course of a month, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to homes of 26,500 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were de-energized due to the shelling
The south of the Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from regular enemy attacks from the occupied territories that cause damage to the energy infrastructure and leave residents of the region without electricity. Last month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to 26,500 families that were left without electricity due to hostilities.
DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining a permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, energy workers have restored electricity to almost 814,000 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
After a series of russia’s missile strikes, the situation in the Ukrainian energy system remains difficult. A significant power shortage causes daily power shutdowns throughout the country. Therefore, we ask to treat electricity consumption responsibly – after shutdowns, switch on energy-consuming appliances in turn and minimize electricity consumption.
