Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to restore power to residents of 69 settlements, thus restoring access to electricity for 43,637 families in the Donetsk region.
Energy workers had no rest on Easter as well, restoring electricity to 1,200 families in 2 settlements yesterday.
Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Shelling continues, affecting settlements of the Donetsk region both near the buffer zone and in the relative rear. In particular, a missile attack was launched on Sloviansk on Friday: at least 7 missiles hit the city according to the Donetsk RMA.
Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Therefore, 110 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
