DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to almost 30,000 families in 24 settlements of the Donetsk region over the course of a week

From January 30 to February 5, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to access a number of sites of grids and equipment damage and repair it, thus restoring power to 24 settlements. Electricity has been restored to homes of almost 30,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Despite escalation of the situation in the Donetsk region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 24 settlements over the course of a week, thus providing access to electricity for 29,961 families.

In particular, on February 5 energy workers have restored electricity to 1,400 families in one settlement.

The situation in the region remains difficult. According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the situation is very difficult in the Donetsk region, fierce battles are underway and there is an increase of enemy pressure on the frontline.

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Therefore, 108 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
