DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to more than 63,000 families in 54 settlements over the course of a week
On October 17 through 23, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore power to 54 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring service to 63,010 households. For instance, energy workers were able to restore electricity to almost 40,000 families in 33 settlements over the weekend.
Hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, last week the enemy continued his offensive attempts at Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, as well as shelling of the region.
As of today, 95 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 243 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
