DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to more than 50,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of a week

From February 13 to 19, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to access a number of sites of grids damage and repair it, thus restoring power to 113 settlements. Electricity has been restored to homes of more than 50,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Overall, since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company have restored power to more than 4 mln families* in the Donetsk region.

Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 113 settlements, thus restoring access to electricity for 51,595 families. 

In particular, yesterday energy workers have restored electricity to 6,300 families in 25 settlements. 

Hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to focus main efforts on conducting an offensive in Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Therefore, 116 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 362 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
