Over the course of a week (October 10 through 16), DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored electricity to homes of 44,000 families in 102 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region that were without power due to shelling. Some homes required restoration of electricity on multiple occasions due to frequent enemy attacks. Our specialists commence work immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Intensity of enemy shelling remains high in the Dnipropetrovsk region, frequently damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity. Despite constant threat from aggressor, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists continue to promptly restore electricity to residents of the region.

Work is carried out immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and State Emergency Service. Over the course of a week, power has been restored to 44,000 families in 102 settlements, completely or partially de-energized due to hostilities. For instance, electricity has been restored to 29,000 consumers of one of the power facilities that was disabled during missile attacks on October 10. DTEK energy workers managed to find a solution and switch all disconnected homes to alternative power sources over the next two days.

Yesterday, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to more than 1,700 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Power supply in the region is now fully restored.

Let us note that due to the damage, caused by rf’s shelling of energy infrastructure facilities, state power company NPC Ukrenergo has introduced stabilization power cutoffs. They will be applied to reduce imbalance in the energy system and to avoid large-scale emergencies. They will last until state power company NPC Ukrenergo repairs all damaged components of the energy system. Information about cutoffs and resumption of electricity supply will be available via DTEK Dnipro Grids website and social networks pages.

However, every Ukrainian can now help energy workers deal with enemy attacks. We ask everyone to consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming appliances in turn during peak load hours in the morning (from 8.00 to 11.00) and in the evening (from 18:00 to 23:00). We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls, etc.

These simple steps will help reduce the need for power cutoffs and the number of disconnected consumers. This is now the best support of energy workers, who are working 24/7 and are doing everything possible to ensure that everyone has electricity at home.

If you have a power outage, please inform DTEK Dnipro Grids. We will do everything possible to promptly restore electricity. To contact the company please use official information channels only. Our specialists are ready to process your applications via remote service channels: website, social networks, contact center +38 (056/066/067/063) 790-99-00, 0-800-301-497, Viber and Telegram chatbots and Viber notification channel “ДТЕК info ДНЕМ”.

We are working 24/7 to ensure reliable power supply to houses and enterprises.
