Over the course of a week, DTEK energy workers have restored power to 2,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were left without electricity due to shelling

Over the course of past week, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored service to 2,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, thus restoring electricity to 20 settlements that were left without it due to hostilities. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored power to a total of almost 40,000 homes, affected by hostilities. Many of these homes required restoration of electricity on more than 10 occasions since February 24.

Last week, energy workers have restored electricity to 2,000 families in 20 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Due to frequent shelling, some homes required restoration of electricity several times a week.

Since the beginning of a full-scale war at the territory of Ukraine, energy workers have restored electricity to a total of almost 40,000 homes. The majority – in the Kryvyi Rih district, which is bordering the Kherson region and is frequently suffering from enemy shelling. In some settlements, energy workers have to repair infrastructure of the grids, destroyed by enemy missiles, every day.

Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 138 days in a row to promptly restore power to settlements that suffered from hostilities
