Electricity was restored to 84,700 families in the course of a week: DTEK restored power to 62 settlements in Donetsk region
Last week (March 28 – April 3), DTEK Donetsk Grids electricians managed to completely or partially restore power to 62 settlements in Donetsk region. Overall, power was restored to 84,700 families.
Since February 24, 2022, when the aggressor has launched a full-scale military assault on our country, DTEK emergency and restoration crews have restored service to 315,726 Ukrainian families in Donetsk region.
Some settlements in Donetsk region required restoration of power supply on multiple occasions due to constant shelling and damage of electrical equipment in the areas of active military activities.
Residents of 178 settlements in Donetsk region remain without electricity. The situation is complicated by active hostilities.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 40 days in a row in order to promptly restore power to settlements in Donetsk region, affected by hostilities.
The company cooperates with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to access damaged sites. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.
