“DTEK strives to become the standard of customer focus. All these days, our emergency crew people worked 24/7 restoring power as quickly as possible. 79 teams were involved, which included more than 200 people and 94 units of equipment. Over the past three days, our teams have completed more than 700 repairs, restoring service to the homes of 41,000 residents in the region. Now, the power supply has been fully restored, there are no new blackouts,” says Oleksiy Ivakhnenko, Head of the Emergency Operations Department at DTEK Dnipro Grids.

According to the company representative, severe weather conditions caused the most of outages. Temperature drops with sleet and rains, which led to icing of the lines, were hitting the region all these days. Novomoskovsky, Pavlogradsky and Sinelnikovsky districts witnessed the most outages. Over the past three days, the energy teams restored the operation of 53 lines and 600 transformer substations. Electricity supply was restored to 37 villages that lost the power completely, and to 43 ones that lost the power partially. There are currently no outages.

Also, for the comfort of its customers, DTEK Dnipro Grids has adjusted the scheduled maintenance plan for the holiday season.

“We recognize that uninterrupted power supply is crucial for people in the region. Especially during the New Year holidays and school vacations, when most people are enjoying their days off or doing chores. Therefore, we have revised our schedule and between December 29 and January 9 there will be no scheduled outages for our customers,” says Oleksii Ivakhnenko.

He also noted that the latest news about unscheduled outages can be checked via the DTEK Dnipro Grids chatbot in Viber or Telegram, as well as on the company's website in the Power Cuts section. If you found your address there, that means that the company knows about an outage and is busy restoring the power.
