DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 19,000 families over the course of a day

Despite shelling, on April 12 DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore power to 25 settlements, affected by shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 19,000 families. Specialists of the energy company make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored electricity to 25 settlements, thus restoring power to 19,415 families.

Shelling of the Donetsk region is ongoing. Missile and air attacks are ongoing. Destruction of the region’s energy system continues. Due to constant damage of the grids, 109 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 413 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
